The students of our College have been actively participating in various activities that strengthen Institution – Neighborhood-Community relationship. A significant number of students are working with NGOs in organizing various programmes in diverse domains such as Dengue awareness, literacy, mental health, counseling services, health camps, environmental issues and social problems amongst the neighbourhood communities. Some of these noted NGOs and collaborating bodies include Rotary Club, Lions Club, Bharathi Foundation, Government Hospital, Rajapalayam, PACR Rotary Blood Bank, Sathya Sai Seva Sangam, Bharat Matha Seva Sangam , Dhyan Baby Parental Care Centre , All India Association for Blind, Ashok Hospitals, Rajapalayam and Thuli Foundation, Rajapalayam. The College also organizes lectures, seminars and workshops relating to the current social issues. The College endures the students to participate in various community development programmes to develop their overall personality with holistic approach.
The College has been serving the neighborhood community through various clubs.
Our College believes in inculcating a sense of social responsibility and humanitarian values among the students and thereby seeks to connect them to the larger community and neighbourhood, sensitizing them towards the needs of the marginalized and the underprivileged and making them aware of their responsibilities towards the society at large. The students actively engage in various activities undertaken by NSS in rendering the following services.
Dengue and AIDS Awareness
Swachh Bharat Scheme – campaigns on open defecation programmes, surveys and implementation of various schemes.
