Our Library is well stacked with about 31,200  books and the numbers adding each year, providing resources to enrich and support the curriculum and student learning. The computerized database makes it easy for students to access the books needed for their curriculum. We subscribe to 8 Dailies, 32 Magazines, 12 Journals and e-resources that help the students to keep in touch with the latest in their field.

We have a Book Bank catering to the students of economically and socially backward communities, a separate section on Career Guidance, Reference Section with about 1500 books, dissertations and Thesis and a DVD Section with about 500 CDS/DVDS. We subscribe to N LIST under INFLIBNET (The  National Library and Information Services) an infrastructure for Scholarly Content that extends access to about 6000+ e journals and 31,35,000+ e books

We are open every working day between 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

             Keeping in pace with the rapidly developing ICT, we empower the students with Skill Update Programmes. Further we empower students by conducting the following Clubs:

RRC Readers’ Forum meets every Friday between 1.20 and 2.00 p.m. to share Book Reviews and encourage Book Reading.  It helps to develop the students knowledge by instilling the habit of Newspaper Reading, Career Guidance and intimations on Higher Studies and Scholarships. We also conduct sessions on Personal Mastery, Personality Development, Leadership and etiquette Nature Walks and Bird Watching. The Department continuously conducts various Certificate Courses and Competitions towards the all round development of the young students.

Gender Sensitization Programmes are periodically conducted for both boys and girls towards creating an awareness of the problems faced by the both genders, moulding a sense of respect towards the opposite gender and highlighting the various Laws and legal steps framed by the Government for the protection of Women.
